HVAC for a Growing School Facility
How Mid-State delivered a complete HVAC system to support a new cafeteria and auditorium for the Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie.
Overview
Creative Arts Academy of St. Lucie (CAST) required a new cafeteria and auditorium building. The new construction needed a complete mechanical system including kitchen ductwork and climate control.
Challenge
The new building required underground chilled water piping to be run from an existing location to support two new air handlers. Ductwork needed to be fully integrated into the new construction.
Our Solution
Mid-State coordinated with Proctor Construction to install underground piping connecting the existing location to the new building. Two new chilled water air handlers were installed along with complete ductwork throughout the kitchen, new cafeteria and auditorium building.
Results
• Underground chilled water piping installed from existing location to new building • Two new chilled water air handlers commissioned • Complete ductwork integrated throughout kitchen, cafeteria, and auditorium • Project completed in coordination with Proctor Construction
